I'm really annoy at my mom. She cut Sam and Max's hair even though I told her not to do so!!She was complaining about how long their hair are. I did tell her that we like their hair long and I'll take them to get it trim if the hair gets to their eyes.
I left Max with her yesterday morning while I dropped Josh at school and Sam at pre-school. I normally take him with me but he was sick so I decided it was better for him to stay home resting and I won't be long. I came home and noticed that his hair was much shorter and not even!! I was so upset and mentioned it to her how bad it was. Then she said don't complain if you want it perfect, do it yourself. I said back to her, I won't do it because I know it will come out bad and he DOESN'T need the hair cut! Fast forward to early evening, I was giving Sam and Max a bath and I took Max out first because Sam still wanted to play with his bath toys. I asked my mom to hang out with Sam in the bathroom while I was getting Max ready to bed. While I was getting max ready, I heard Sam's screaming and freaking out. He was yelling and screaming "no Ama(it means grandma), no" to my mom. I went in I saw my mom was trying to cut his hair with the comb with build in blade(you know, the one that you using for layering the hair). I was pissed so it's Sam. He told my mom to get out the bathroom and don't cut his hair. "NO Cut Sam's hair, Ama. NO"
Apparently, she didn't get much of his hair. Still I could see the different. By the way, she got the comb from my aunt. She borrowed it while she stayed with them.
Sam and Max still sick. They both seem to get worse. Max is the worst one. He's also teething pretty bad on top of having a cold. Poor guy! He didn't take his afternoon nap yesterday so he was super grumpy. Somehow I got some good pictures of him before I tried to put him down for a nap. Can you see the different of his hair?

Wow - I can't believe your mother actually did that while you were gone! I would be absolutely TICKED off!! She didn't have any right to do that..... especially without talking to you about it first!!
Your boys look good with long hair... mine don't. My dad always keeps telling me to let the boys' hair grow long, but some children just don't look good with long hair... KWIM??
Yikes. I would be so mad if my mom did that. I agree w/ Grace that your boys look great with long hair.
I hope the boys feel better soon! It's really no fun to have 2 sick kids :(

I can't believe your mom did that EVEN AFTER you specifically told her NOT to!I'd be really mad. they look super cute with their soft shiny hair long, but still cute being short tho (i know, that wasn't your point...).. I hope Sam and Max get well soon. my daughter's been sick for a week now, terrible for me to watch, i'd give anything to help her blow her nose.
Thai suki yaki sounds yummy, we love eating it but one time we had the spicy pot and ate too much with upset tummy. I think now I'm ready to face it again :)
I swear, grandparents are always doing the opposite of what we tell them to. Revenge maybe? lol My grandpa use to give me a bowl haircut himself. ><

It's funny how Mother's think they know better than you!
Oh well, it will grow back out, so no harm done...better hide those scissors when your Mom is around!
I also like my boy with longer hair, he has some great curls, and once and a while I will shave it off, because it is so hot, but lately he won't let me!!
