Sushi is a 6 years old black Cornish Rex.

Yesterday was last day school for Josh. He didn't really has to go to school because there is nothing going on but he wanted to go to help his teacher clean up the room and get it ready for the next school year. While he was at the school, I was trying to get an appointment for my cat, Sushi. She has been sick for a about a week. Lost appetite, throwing up then and there and lost her energy. It seemed to get worse yesterday. There was nothing open so I had to walk in as emergency.
As soon as Max woke up from his nap, I went to pick up Josh and took sushi to see the vet. After we were waiting there for more an hour, she finally saw the vet and he couldn't find anything really wrong with her. He gave her an anti-vomiting shot, meds and special food to take home with us. Hope to see her better soon.
We also went out for dinner last night as a graduation's celebration for Josh.

Sorry to hear about Sushi. I don't know if cats and dogs are similar in this way, but could she have pancreatitis? Does she eat a lot of table food? My parents' dog Denny had it- same symptoms.
Sushi! My Inlaws had a little dog named Sushi and I thought that it was a cute name.... till this day, I still think it's cute! I hope Sushi gets better soon!
Helping the teacher out is a wonderful thought...
Now that school is out for Josh, what do you have planned for him during the Summer?
Wow - I'm so impressed! What fantastic boys you have. That is so gracious and mature of Josh to help his teacher (so rare in kids that age). You'll have to share some of your secrets for raising great kids!

You have very handsome boys there. i hope Sushi gets well soon (cute name btw). interestingly my black tux cat's 6 yo and also been vomiting once a few days lately, dh says it's hairball but i don't see black hair in it. maybe it is just hot weather and she's shedding. if she keeps doing that for another week we probably have to send her there too.
lol If we ever get a pet I think I want to name it Sushi now. ^^ Too cute of a name.
