Prettiest moms

I got tagged by Grace and I am supposed to tag the five prettiest moms on my blogroll but it seems like everyone already got tagged so I'm not going to tagged anyone.

Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Thanks Grace, this is so true.

Happy B day! Josh

We had Josh's B day party last night. It's a late B day party. His B day was back in April(April8) but we were so busy with buying a house. Also Josh and Steve weren't around at that time. Josh was in Chicago visiting his mom and grandma over the spring break and Steve was in Poland for work. It made perfect sense for do it later.
I think they all had fun. Sam was trying to tell everyone that it was his B day. He kept telling me to get Elmo Birthday cake and balloons. Josh was so sweet, he let Sam picked the balloons and cake(well, they both agreed on a chocolate cake). We had Indian food for dinner(Josh picked it). Great choice, Josh
I post some pictures of the party and some of our new home.

Such a daddy boy!

Max is such a daddy boy. He prefers Steve over me even though I'm the one who spend most time with him. When Steve come home, Max pushes me out and try to get to daddy. He doesn't want anyone else to hold him except daddy. It does bother sometime and I'll try not to think too much of it. I'm not used to it.

In the other hand, Sam is a mama boy. He wants me to do and helps him with everything. I mean everything! Give him a bath, get dress, put him to bed, get him out the crib, etc. It's tiring but I love it.

Update on Max's cold, It's nothing serious. The doctor just told me to give him some decongestant drop and spray Alfrin before he goes to bed. He hates the spray, we have to hold him down but it's clear up his nose and he can breath better and sleep better at night.

Oh! on the hammer thing, there is no hole on the wall but the piece and some of the paint came out. We can paint over it and doesn't look to obvious.

New house

What a move! We finally moved to our new house last Friday. It took the movers all day to move our stuff to the new place. It was great that we moved on Friday because Sam and Josh(my stepson) were at school which helped a lot. Max was so good, he even took his morning nap in Sam's bedroom while the movers moved the stuff to the truck.

I went to pick Sam up later than usual, tried to get thing done as much as possible. We came back home around 6 pm, Sam was so excited about the new house. While I tried to put his backpack and lunchbox away, he grabbed the hammer in the toolbox on the kitchen counter and slammed to the wall. GRRRR
With in 5 minutes that he's home. He destroys our new house!! I think he's trying to fix stuff just like daddy. We got a good laugh afterward, at that time Sam got the big time out.
We pretty much unpacked most of the boxes. Still it's a lot to rearrange. It's good for now.

Sam really like our new house. He mentions about it then and there. Like this morning while he's eating his breakfast. He told me that "Sam like new home". That's a good thing. Max's been miserable. He has a pretty bad cold since Saturday. It seems to get worse. I'll take him to see the doctor this afternoon.
Josh LOVE his new room. His room is downstairs with his own bathroom. He finally has more privacy without Sam and Max try to get in to his room and his stuff. It's harder for Sam and Max to get down there especially Max because there is a door before you can get down there and of cause the door has to be close at all time. We don't want them to fall downstairs.

I try to post some pictures of the house when I find the camera!

Here the pictures

Most of the time when I tried to get his pictures, he always closed his eyes. His eyes are sensitive to the flash, I guess.

two more days

Two more days until we move to our new home. I'm so excited to move there. It's our first home! It's not too far from where we are right now and it's still easy for Steve to drive to work. Max will has his own bedroom, he is now in our bedroom.(I can't wait to get my room back!!) At the same time I'm kind of sad leaving here even though we only live here for a year and 1/2.

I still have tons of stuff to pack, especially our bedroom and kitchen. Steve is so good at packing. It should be because he moved a lot before he met me. This will be the 19th! Moving is so stressful!! Can't wait it to be over and settle in the new house. I'm hoping to see the boys growing up in this house.

Sam and Max seem to doing OK with the whole thing. Max has no clue what is going on except having fun with the boxes. Sam got upset when we were packing his stuffs. I tried to explain to him. I think he sorted of understand.
